Requirements and limitations
- Requires an ARM64 Android device running Android 7.0 (API 24) or later.
- iOS support is currently an MVP and should not be described as full Android parity or a final App Store release.
- Requires network access for the first speech model download.
- Requires about 704 MiB of free storage for model installation.
- Scheduled transcription uses Android background work and is not an exact alarm.
- Speech recognition accuracy is not guaranteed and may vary by audio quality, accent, language, and recording conditions.
License and acknowledgements
Voice Inbox is distributed from its public source repository. TODO: confirm final app license text and add third-party acknowledgements for AndroidX, Apple platform APIs, ONNX Runtime, Rust crates, Kotlin Multiplatform libraries, and the speech model before publication.
